About Otome Game

Etto, for a girl, that wants to play otome games, but don't know, what an otome game is, I'll try to explain it in a simpler words...Here it goes...Otome comes from a japanese word, that means Maiden in English. Otome games, usually targeted a girl gamer (that's when, a girl game world, becoming so beautiful >///<). In Otome games, usually, they will give you this group of guys, pick one and you have to get to know them, and eventually unlocked, the ending and the CG of your chosen guy. After finish one guy route, there's no restriction for you to start all over, and choose another guy. Basically, seduce the man, and you win. Many, non-gamer girl, would thought, that girls, who play otome game, are 'forever alone' girl. But, it doesn't seem like that to me. There are girls with boyfriend, would play these kinda game. Erm...There are two types of Otome game. One Visual Novels and another one is Simulation games. Visual Novels, usually only focus on the story itself. You have to make the right choices, to get the ending of your chosen guy. As for Simulation, it's more complex than visual novels...In simulation, you need to raise your stats...and to get the ending of the guy you like, you need to make the right choice + max the certain stat (stats example, charm, knowledge, sport, social etc...) for your chosen guy. Each guy, have their own favourite stats. But,there's a game, that you need to give attention to the other stats also, aside from your chosen guy stats, to get the good ending. For me, I personally like Visual Novels, more than Simulation game, because i'm more into the story, than raising a stat. Because i like to read...and when a boring dialogue appear, you can just click, quicker....
